- 1 tea spoon mustard seeds (sarso)
- 2 tbsp haldi (turmeric) powder
- 2 tbsp masala powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 cups water (optional for gravy-style curry)
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- Fresh cilantro/corriander (for garnish) o spring onion
Directions
- Infuse the oil: Heat oil in a pot and add fenugreek, cumin seeds, and mustard seeds. Let them sizzle until aromatic.
- Sauté the base: Add chopped onions and garlic, cooking until golden brown.
- Spice it up: Stir in haldi and masala powder, mixing well.
- Brown the beef: Add cubed beef and stir well. Cover the pot and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Slow cooking magic: Continue stirring every 5 minutes to prevent burning. Add salt to taste.
